SnoreWeight ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website snoreweight.com. SnoreWeight is a health and wellness platform that helps individuals identify and track the body weight at which their snoring began. SnoreWeight™ is a pending trademark (USPTO Serial No. 99869112).

What information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us directly:
- Your email address when you join our waitlist or unlock your report
- Responses to the SnoreWeight calculator (snoring frequency, intensity, current weight, height, neck circumference, and related questions)
- Any messages you send us through our contact or partnership forms
Information collected automatically:
- Basic analytics data including page views, visit duration, and country of origin (via Cloudflare Web Analytics)
- Browser type and device type
- IP address (anonymized by Cloudflare)
Anonymous calculator data:
When you complete the SnoreWeight calculator, we collect anonymous, aggregated data including your calculated SnoreWeight, BMI range, snoring frequency, and risk tier. This data is never linked to your identity and is used solely for research, product improvement, and anonymized population health reporting. By checking the consent box in the calculator you agree to this anonymous data collection. No individual-level health data is shared with any third party.
How we use your information
- To send you early access updates and launch announcements if you joined our waitlist
- To calculate and display your SnoreWeight score
- To improve the calculator methodology and platform
- To generate anonymized, aggregated population health insights
- To respond to questions or support requests
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate the site (email platforms, hosting providers, form processing) — only to the extent necessary to provide our service
- Research partners — anonymized, aggregated population data only. No personally identifiable information is ever shared.
- Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our legal rights
Any third-party service providers we use are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
Health information
The SnoreWeight calculator collects information related to your health, including body weight and snoring habits. Individual health data is used solely to calculate your SnoreWeight score and display your results. Anonymous, aggregated health data may be used for research and product improvement as described above. Your individual health data is never shared with healthcare providers, insurers, employers, or advertisers without your explicit consent.
SnoreWeight is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. If you have concerns about sleep apnea or snoring, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
Clinician dashboard and patient data
SnoreWeight offers a clinician-facing dashboard that allows healthcare providers to enter patient information — including name, age, weight, height, neck circumference, GLP-1 status, and sleep apnea history — to generate an educational SnoreWeight assessment.
Important distinctions about this tool:
- Patient data entered into the clinician dashboard is entered by the clinician, not by the patient. The patient whose information is entered has not directly interacted with SnoreWeight and has not agreed to this Privacy Policy.
- It is the sole responsibility of the clinician or healthcare provider to ensure they have the appropriate legal authority, patient consent, and applicable regulatory compliance (including but not limited to HIPAA in the United States) before entering any patient-identifiable information into this tool.
- Assessment data entered into the clinician dashboard is stored locally in the browser session only and is not transmitted to or stored on SnoreWeight's servers. SnoreWeight does not receive, store, or have access to patient-identifiable information entered through the clinician dashboard.
- SnoreWeight is not a HIPAA Business Associate and does not enter into Business Associate Agreements. Clinicians should not treat this tool as a HIPAA-compliant system.
- The clinician dashboard is an educational and informational tool only. It does not produce clinical recommendations, diagnoses, or treatment plans.
SnoreWeight accepts no liability for the entry, use, or storage of patient-identifiable data by clinicians or third parties using this tool.
Cookies and tracking
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track individual users across sites. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising trackers on this website.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent for email communications at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

International visitors and GDPR
SnoreWeight is operated from the United States. If you are visiting from the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis for processing your email address is your consent (given when you join the waitlist). You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or clicking unsubscribe in any email.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. Anonymous calculator data (as described above) is retained in aggregated form for research and product improvement purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
Children's privacy
SnoreWeight is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 in the United States (per COPPA), or under the age of 16 in the European Union and United Kingdom (per GDPR). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist subscribers of any material changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
